Radio Career: Producing, Leading, and Shaping Broadcast Content

My foundation in media was built in radio—where I spent over a decade producing, managing, and evolving some of the UK’s most listened-to shows. At Bauer Media, I held senior production roles across both Breakfast and Daytime programming, where I was responsible not just for content creation, but for the strategic and creative direction of entire shows.

As Breakfast Producer, I led the complete rebrand of a flagship commercial breakfast show, overseeing everything from tone of voice and visual identity to music strategy and audience engagement. This rebrand directly contributed to a 20% increase in weekly reach and a market share rise from 16.2% to 20.8%.

I worked closely with on-air presenters, managing their schedules, supporting their creative development, and ensuring every show was polished, engaging, and aligned with brand values. I collaborated extensively with music industry and film PRs, securing celebrity interviews across TV, music, and film—including live and pre-recorded segments timed with major releases and events.

My role also involved:

Audience engagement strategy – developing competitions, social media content, and interactive features to deepen listener connection

Audience analysis – using data insights to shape content decisions and refine programming

Live event production – producing on-site content from major festivals and events like T in the Park and the Dunhill Championships

Breaking news coverage – responding in real time to unfolding stories, coordinating with newsrooms, and adapting show formats to keep content relevant and responsive

As Daytime Producer, I continued to lead content strategy across the daytime schedule, commissioning new features, managing talent, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality listener experience. I worked closely with commercial partners, production teams, and editorial leads to deliver content that was both creatively rich and commercially effective.

Creative Production & Freelance Work

As a freelance Creative Producer and Project Manager, I’ve worked with a diverse range of clients across fashion, broadcast, and live events. My freelance portfolio includes:

  • Vivienne Westwood – Produced branded video content and campaign visuals, managing creative direction, production logistics, and on-set execution.
  • ITV – Delivered digital-first content, working closely with editorial and production teams to align with brand tone and audience expectations.
  • London Fashion Week – Led multi-platform content production, including live streaming, backstage interviews, and social media assets.

My freelance work spans:

Programme Leadership & Learning Innovation

Over the past several years, I’ve specialised in designing and delivering impactful learning experiences across the media and creative industries. As a Senior Programme Manager, I led the end-to-end development of training programmes—from initial needs analysis and stakeholder consultation to curriculum design, delivery, and evaluation.

My work has included:

  • Designing bespoke learning programmes in areas such as digital media production, storytelling, leadership, and creative thinking
  • Managing large-scale training initiatives, including apprenticeships and upskilling programmes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and learner needs
  • Overseeing delivery teams, including facilitators, coaches, and subject matter experts, to ensure high-quality, consistent learning experiences
  • Developing blended learning models, combining in-person workshops, digital content, and live virtual sessions to maximise engagement and accessibility
  • Monitoring learner progress and outcomes, using data to refine content and improve delivery
  • Supporting learners directly, offering coaching and mentoring to help individuals build confidence, develop skills, and progress in their careers

I’ve worked with a wide range of learners—from early-career creatives and apprentices to experienced professionals seeking to adapt to a changing media landscape. My approach is always learner-centred, practical, and grounded in real-world media experience.

Social Impact & Industry Development

I’ve always believed in using media as a tool for empowerment and inclusion. Some of my most meaningful work includes:

Youth Media Workshops – Delivered in partnership with The Prince’s Trust (now King’s Trust), focusing on confidence-building, storytelling, and content creation.

This Is It: Creative London – A training programme for unemployed young Londoners, which resulted in 64% of participants securing full-time roles in the creative industries.

Women in Radio Production – A bespoke programme designed to equip women with the skills and confidence to thrive in the industry.

In 2024, I co-founded Us Together Creative with my friend and collaborator Rachel. Together, we work with brands to elevate their identity, refine their strategy, and create meaningful content. Our focus is on helping organisations rebrand with purpose, tell their stories with clarity, and connect with their audiences in authentic, impactful ways.
